Intended Audience:
This program is designed for all practitioners with the following specialties
or subspecialties: cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, emergency
physicians, hospitalists and hospital pharmacists.

Educational Objectives:
After viewing this program, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare
providers will:
- Be able to assess and implement opti mal antithrombotic
strategies for patients with STEMI and acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
- Understand
impact of specific pharmacologic agents on outcomes, including ischemic
endpoints, bleeding, and mortality for patients with STEMI and ACS.
- Be
able to discuss the impact that new trials are likely to have on future
management of patients with STEMI and ACS.
- Learn to apply AHA/ACC, ACCP,
and other national guidelines in order to optimize therapy for STEMI
and ACS
