After viewing this program, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers will:

• Be able to assess and implement opti mal antithrombotic strategies for patients with STEMI and acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
• Understand impact of specific pharmacologic agents on outcomes, including ischemic endpoints, bleeding, and mortality for patients with STEMI and ACS.
• Be able to discuss the impact that new trials are likely to have on future management of patients with STEMI and ACS.
• Learn to apply AHA/ACC, ACCP, and other national guidelines in order to optimize therapy for STEMI and ACS
