Educational Objectives:
Participants in this CME-certified WebCAST will:
- Learn how to approach hypertension as a systematic disease, with
multiple manifestations, and associations, including as sessment of
coexisting conditions that support use of specific classes or agents.
- Learn
about the complications linked to healthcare disparities observed in
specific patient populations, and the importance of providing access,
treatment, and monitoring of patients with multiple risk CV risk factors.
- Learn
how to manage complicated patients with high blood pressure, including
those with ischemic heart disease and/or heart failure.
- Learn the importance
of early treatment of patients with high blood pressure, markers to
look for, and the importance of treat ing both systolic and diastolic
blood pressure abnormalities.
